Nautical Stripes

 RUNDOWN // Jacket - WetSeal // Dress - Rue21 // Sandals - Local shoe boutique // Purse - Michel Kors // Cup - Rue21

Hey you guys,
So I am so excited cause I just finished my junior year of high school which means that now that it's summer I finally have more time to make more blog posts. Which I am super excited about because it's summer and hopefully I can go to different locations and take pictures of different scenery, or take pictures of other peoples.
So it was a bit hot on this day so I went with a nice brezzy dress to start off this look. In the summer I like to wear dresses that don't cling to me cause I don't want to get all hot and sweaty so dresses like these are absolutely perfect. Then to make the look even more better I added this Jean Jacket from WetSeal which is like my go to jacket in my entire wardrobe. I can literally wear it with anything I have. Next I am wearing these gladiator sandals from a local shoe boutique which I wear all the time. Then I am on my black over the shoulder Michel Kors purse. Lastly, I have this cup which I got form Rue21. I thought it was so cute so I put it with the outfit as well.

So now I am officially on Summer break and now I have more time to make more blog post and hopefully do different types of posts as well. I really say all the time that I am going to start doing different blog posts and never do but now since I have a lot of time on my hands now I will really do more of different blog posts.

Until next time,
Samara

How to Survive Finals | The Outfits

 RUNDOWN // Jacket: Run21 // Shirt: Forever21 // Joggers: Burlington Coat Factory // Shoes : Converse // Book bag: Forever21

Here is outfit number one. The main propriety of these outfits was to wear something super comfortable which means joggers, sweatpants, and workout gear will be key essentials during the week of finals. So in this outfits first I am wearing my green olive color jacket from Rue21 which by far is my favorite piece of clothing ever. Next I am wearing a plain basic top from Forever21. Then I am wearing these kind of marble print joggers from Burlignton Coat Factory. I also have on white converses. Lastly, my book bag is from Forever 21 as well.
This outfit is super comfortable and I can easily move around in it which is what I got for during finals and testing week which for my school lasts the rest of the month of May.

RUNDOWN // Chambray Shirt: Forever21 // Striped shirt: Forever21 // Joggers:  Khols // Shoes: Vans

On to outfit number two. Okay so in this outfit I stayed kind of the same in keeping comfortable clothing. First I am wearing this chambray shirt from Forever21 which is another of my favorite piece of clothing. Next I am wearing a striped shirt from Forever 21 as well. Then my joggers are from Khols which literally I love these joggers because I can dress them but up and down. Lastly I am wearing my grey Vans. I would have worn my white converse but I did not want to wear converse everyday so I wore my vans for once.

( Please excuse my siblings in the background )

Rundown // Shirt - Local Store from Savannah, Georiga // Work out leggings: Walmart // Shoes: Converse

For my last outfit I am wear this shirt which I kind of got from a tourist store in Savannah, Georgia. If you follow my Instagram I made a post about my favorite and hopefully future college but while I was down there I wanted to buy this shirt because it reminded me a lot of the shirts that they sell at Victoria Secret. Next I am wearing these workout legging from Walmart which too are super comfortable. Then lastly, I am wearing my white converse again but hey what can you do, they literally go with almost everything.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this post. This month must be one of the most stressful months for students in school everywhere so I hope by this post it gives you some ideas on what to wear for your finals or state testing days.
I want to and I am really aiming to post two other posts in this How to survive finals series. Right when I get off of school for summer vacation I will have so much more time to post more outfits, tips advice, and I want to try to start making some DIY'S. I also have a beauty video that I am going to post on here as well which I was supposed to do a week ago but my sound failed so I had to do it over. Since I have this series out I might not actually post it until June but that is okay because e it gives me more than enough time to edit it and make everything clear.  Also along those note I might change the look of my blog coming up this summer because I don't really like the look of my blog anymore because it I really want my pictures and post display to be a bit larger so I just so excited because I have some big things that are coming up.

Until next time,
Samara

Palmer's Flip Balm Review

DISCLAMIER: THIS IS NOT A SPONCERED POST. ALL OPINIONS ARE MINE

Hey you guys,
Today I am talking about The Palmer's Flip Balm. I am currently in the HerCampus High School Ambassador Program and the company Palmer's wanted the ambassadors of this program to test them out and give out free samples to our friends and family.

My first impression/thoughts:
Okay when I first got them they came in a small little package with a little rubber band around it telling us about the instagram contest they were holding which I thought was really cool. Separately they gave me one of each flavor which were coconut, mango, and watermelon. My favorite has to be mango just because I love the smell of it. When I applied it to my lips I loved how smooth and soft they make your lips. Another thing I liked about this was that unlike EOS balms, with the flip balms the lid just flip right open. I like this feature because now I will not lose the lid and worry about random dust and dirt landing on it.
The only thing that I really disliked about it was that if you keep it in your purse especially if you have a bunch of things in your purse then the lid somehow opens by itself. That was my only one concerned because when I went into my purse one day some of my things were covered in the chap stick. So I would suggest not to keep it in your purse but maybe like keep it on your dresser so that you can use it when your at home.
Overall it is a really good product and I gave some of my free samples to my friends and family and I got some really positive reviews back.

I really hope you guys enjoyed my review and think about purchasing the product for yourself.
Finals week is coming up and I have a lot going on within the next three and a half weeks, so I might make a short little series about how to survive finals and a finals outfit guide.

Until next time,
Samara
